ExpoNet is the only Australian certified supplier of the Octanorm Service Partner International stand building network (OSPI).

This means we have the capability to provide for the requirements of international clients exhibiting in Australia and Australian clients exhibiting overseas. We have built custom stands for clients in Greece, Munich, Hong Kong, USA, China and Barcelona just to name a few.

Octanorm is a product developed in Germany and used around the world for building exhibition stands and custom stands.

OSPI

More than fifteen years ago a group of exhibition experts, under the leadership of OCTANORM, set up the OSPI Network, with the objective of facilitating participation in international fairs and exhibitions worldwide.

Designed here - Built there

The slogan "designed here - built there" is the basis of the OSPI Network, which now consists of more than 170 exhibition construction companies in 52 countries.

Using identical OCTANORM product & quality standards, professional presentation and exhibition projects can be assured anywhere around the world. What a local exhibition contractor has planned for a company can be built identically virtually anywhere in the world by another OSPI supplier.

CLIENT: BAXTER

The brief was to manage a custom project for a USA based pharmaceutical company working with a Belgian stand design group. The 160 square metre stand was to demonstrate the company's product and services with an added Australian 'feel'.

A custom hospitality area with kitchen and seating area were constructed under extensive rigging and client branding.

We were asked to manage all aspects of their participation in the exhibition, from the co-ordination of catering, stand construction and production of graphics to organising a promotional photo concept. Delegates were offered an opportunity to have their photo taken posing with models dressed as Australian legends in front of a backdrop of an Australian icon Uluru (Ayers Rock).

The concept was an outstanding success, particularly with international delegates, with over 1500 visiting the stand over 3 days to receive a poster card with their photo.

CLIENT: GL

This 6m x 6m custom stand is an example of our work as part of the OSPI network. It was designed in Germany for a German company who exhibit globally. The stand was built in Australia by ExpoNet a division of ExpoNet.

This custom stand was designed to convey a strong brand presence with corporate branding and logos integrated into every face of the stand and the walling matching the corporate colour.

The 5m high front tower included an access archway and housed a flush mounted 50 inch plasma for the client's marketing presentation. This tower also provided support for the overhead structure which featured a backlit mesh fabric ceiling.  

A custom made laminated reception counter was built to provide a central point where clients could be greeted and invited into the casual lounge area behind. To soften the design, floral arrangements and screening plants were also included.

The design brief included a functional kitchen area with both a dishwasher and sink unit, a 100 mm high raised melamine floor was installed to conceal the plumbing required.
